I’m Arianna Reardon, and I currently reside in the smallest state in the U.S, Rhode Island 🙂 Growing up I was a dancer and cheerleader, and when I was 16 years old my mom really got me into fitness. I’m so thankful that she did, because fitness has become one of the biggest parts of my life. My mom is a bit of a fitness fanatic herself, so I guess you could say that’s where I get it from! 2015 has by far been one of the craziest years of my life, but I am so blessed to be able to live the life that I do. At the beginning of this year, I had planned to compete in a bikini competition, and I had my eyes set on the prize. However, I had some health complications along the way that unfortunately forced me to eventually back out of doing the competition, but looking back now, I am so glad that happened. If it wasn’t for my health complications, I probably wouldn’t of pursued my dream of becoming a WWE Diva this soon. I decided to drop the weight lifting and simple cardio, and switch to focusing on martial arts training under my dad instead. My dad has been practicing the art of Kenpo Jiu Jitsu for over thirty years and in just a few months, I have fallen in love with it. I’ve learned how to fall correctly, roll correctly, my cardio and stamina are better than ever before, and I love the feeling of knowing that I could defend myself if I needed to. In addition to all of that, I’m the happiest I’ve ever been with my body, my self esteem has increased, and I know I’ll be confident in myself when I do get to try out for WWE. Some people ask me why I really want to become a WWE Diva so badly, and my answer is quite simple: I love how athleticism is combined with acting. I absolutely love acting, and I have always considered myself to be really athletic, what more perfect job could you ask for? I want to be a positive influence for others. I want to show everyone that no matter what card life has dealt you, you can overcome it, and you can achieve anything if you set your mind to it. One of my favorite sayings is, “if you feel the need to prove someone wrong, that means that you currently think they’re right. Therein lies your problem.” I love that saying because I believe that the only competition you have is yourself. Look yourself in the mirror every single day, and remind yourself that. No one else matters but you. Over the years, I’ve learned to genuinely not care what other people think, and trust me, life is much better that way.
If I’m not at school or work, I’m probably reading or writing. The beach is my absolute favorite place in the whole entire world. Nothing makes me feel more calm inside than being surrounded by sand and the salt water. My boyfriend, family, and friends mean the absolute world to me. I don’t have many people in my life, but the people I do have are the only ones that I need. I’d rather have a few true friends that I can count on rather than a bunch of friends who just want to hangout with me during a party. I have an amazing support system by my side. I don’t care what others say about me, but I get more protective when people say things about the ones I care about, that’s just how I’m programmed. I’m probably one of the most girly girls’ you will ever meet. I am absolutely obsessed with the color pink. My dream car is a pink Mercedes G-Class SUV. I’m also obsessed with Barbie, Hello Kitty, and Disney princesses. My idols are Nikki Bella and Ronda Rousey, because they can show the world that girls can be tough and still be pretty, and my goal is to one day be viewed the same way.
I sometimes call myself Queen Ari because princesses need saving and queens get stuff done. I’m a firm believer in working hard for what you want and being the boss of your own life. I also believe in happy endings and that everything happens for a reason. I was bullied all throughout high school so when I see others getting bullied it infuriates me. My goal in the future is to raise a lot of awareness for bullying and domestic violence. I haven’t always been dealt the best cards in life from being bullied, some family drama, abusive relationships, and a lot of health issues, but I’ve always managed to make it through and come out stronger in the end. I want to share my story with the world and help everyone realize that although things happen sometimes that are beyond our control, it is still possible to get through it. Don’t ever give up on your dreams. If you don’t make it the first time, try again, and keep on trying until you get there. Nothing worth having comes easy, but it’ll be worth it in the end. Lastly, I want everyone to know that you should never do something unless you are truly passionate about it. When you’re passionate about something, it’ll consume you- in a good way. You’ll think about that one thing all the time, and you’ll be dying to work towards it, and you’ll be able to feel it burning through your body like fire, and it’s the absolute best feeling in the world.
I’ve been documenting my journey on YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter, and I hope you’ll join me for the ride!
