Super Rugby Round 7 Review

While the Cheetahs form continued, it was another tough week for the SA sides in SR, but as they say, there’s nowhere to go from here but up.

Highlanders vs Reds

Landers season is going from bad to dreadful very quickly as they suffered another defeat in a match that they really would have fancied themselves to win.

Hurricanes vs Southern Kings

While the Kings slumped to yet another defeat, there were moments in the match where they threatened, and at one point even looked like they might just pull off an upset win. Not to be though as Canes proved to strong for the SR newbies.

Chiefs vs Blues

Wasn’t the best quality rugby you will ever see, but it kept the match close and intense with the defending champs just squeezing through in front of a Blues side whose season isn’t looking so good anymore.

Brumbies vs Bulls

Bulls put up a valiant effort, but this Brumbies side when playing in front of their home funs just look unbeatable to me.

Cheetahs vs Melbourne Rebels

Wet, and rainy conditions made Cheetahs’ style of rugby difficult to play, but even with mother nature against them, they still ended up comfortable victors over the Rebels as their more than impressive run continues.

Stormers vs Crusaders

The Cape Crusaders left Newlands smiling… no more will be said about this match.

Waratahs vs Western Force

Tahs proved to have a little bit extra in the tank than the Force to see home their 2nd win on the trot.
