There has been a lot of sport as of late, so much that I couldn’t possibly keep up with it all, so here’s a post giving a short and sweet recap of everything that has taken place this past week.

SA vs Pakistan 1st Test:

Another dominating performance from the best test team in the world, and now that SA players occupy the top spot of every test ranking there is (Kallis – all rounder, Steyn – bowler, Amla – Batsman)  its not hard to see why they are so good.

New Zealand 7s:

A very weird Sevens tournament. Fiji playing in the bowl for the first time ever. Kenya reaching the cup final. England winning the cup. It was also a forgetful one for the blitzbokke, losing to Kenya in the cup quarter.

A sad week for the hosts, as Bafana went crashing out in the Quarter-finals on penalties to Mali, and the manner in which they lost the penalty shootout, sadly brings the word ‘choke’ which is so often associated with SA sports up once again.

So that basically somes up all that’s been happening in the world of SA sport, will try this week to keep up with everything and get more detailed posts on each event out.
