The TT Circuit in Assen in the Netherlands is the venue for this weekend’s Netherlands MotoGP on Sunday the 25th of June.
Andrea Dovizioso won his first career back-to-back Grand Prix when he stepped up once again to take 1st place in the Catalunya GP two weeks ago. He was 3.5 seconds in front of 2nd placed Marc Marquez whose team-mate Dani Pedrosa completed the podium.
Maverick Vinales who leads the World Championship Standings was in 10th position and is now only 7 points ahead of Dovizioso in the standings. Dovizioso has been shortened from 25/2 to 17/4 in the Championship betting with Marquez in from 26/10 to 22/10 and Vinales easing slightly from 15/20 to 8/10.

In 2016 the race should have been 26 laps but after 14 full laps it was stopped due to heavy rain and then later restarted over 12 laps. Jack Miller was the surprise winner and he was followed by Marc Marquez in 2nd with Dani Pedrosa completing the top 3.
Suggested Bet: Marquez win at 22/10
From a fans point of view this has been a great season and there are at least 6 or 7 riders capable of winning each week. That doesn’t make things easy from a betting point of view though and I will admit to scratching my head this week. In the end I have gone for Marquez who has been the most consistent rider this season and appears close to top form. He also won here in 2014 so enjoys the track.
