Chicago Cubs at St Louis Cardinals
The Cubs (17-17) and Cardinals (19-14) meet for the first time since Opening Day and this will be an important series for both teams. Chicago had a tough trip to Colorado and lost two of three. Whereas, the Cardinals have won six straight games, all on the road as well. Pitching for St Louis is Mike Leake and he’s looked dominant so far this season. He’s 4-1 with a low ERA of 1.79. Although, he’s been roughed up against the Cubs of late, earning 15 runs in 30.1 innings. For the Cubs, Eddie Butler makes his first start of the season in the place of Brett Anderson (DL). Butler’s last seven starts have totalled 30 earned runs in 34.1 innings, so the Cubs will be looking for more improvement in 2017. But the Wolf isn’t so sure and he’s predicting the Cardinals will score freely in a -1.5 victory.
