The second test between West Indies and Pakistan gets underway in Barbados on Sunday and Pakistan are 1-0 up with two to play.
Pakistan were odds on favourites to win the first test in Jamaica and they obliged with a 7 wicket win. There were test match debuts for Shimron Hetmyer and Vishaul Singh for the hosts and Pakistan handed a fist cap to Mohammad Abbas and after losing the toss and being asked to bat first West Indies posted 286 all out with Roston Chase top scoring with 63. Mohammad Amir was the star performer with the ball taking 6 West Indies wickets.
In reply Pakistan made 407 all out with major contributions coming from skipper Misbah-ul-Haq, who is retiring from international cricket at the end of this series, stranded on 99 not out and Babar Azam (72).
West Indies could manage only 152 in their second knock as Yasir Shah took 6 wickets and Pakistan were left needing 32 for victory, a feat they achieved at the cost of 3 wickets.
Yasir Shah edged the Man of the Match award and Pakistan can now close out a series win if they go in again. The third and final test gets underway at Windsor Park, Roseau, Dominica on Wednesday 10th May.

Bet: Top Away Batsman – 1st Inns Azhar Ali at 33/10
Top Away Bowler – 1st Inns Mohammad Amir at 5/2
There was little joy for Azhar Ali in the first test but he is normally a reliable performer in this format. As for the Pakistan bowling, Mohammad Amir gets the vote to shine in the first innings just as he did in the first test.
