Sri Lanka and Bangladesh could not be separated in the test matches and the ODI’s earlier in this tour and the teams now head into a two match T20 series with the first contest taking place at the RPS Colombo on Tuesday.
The test series which started this tour finished locked up at 1-1 and the ODI series also finished all square with Bangladesh taking the first of three and after a washout in the second contest, Sri Lanka squared things up. We now move on to the shortest format and we begin with the team news.

The T20 format has seen Sri Lanka play their best cricket in recent months. In January this year they sprang a major surprise with a 2-1 win over the Proteas in South Africa and they followed up with another 2-1 win away from home against Australia.
Bangladesh were whitewashed 3-0 in New Zealand earlier this year, their only action in this format since the World T20 early in 2016.
