Pablo Carreno Busta the 4th seed came back from one set down in his semi-final to defeat Casper Ruud in 3 sets 2-6, 7-5 and 6-0 to book his place in the last two.  He had come through the quarter finals 7-6 (4), 6-7(2) and 1-0 when Alexandr Dolgopolov had to retire in their third set.  Carreno Busta will now face 2nd seed Dominic Thiem who had a straight set win 6-1 and 6-4 over 5th seed Albert Ramos-Vinolas.  Thiem also had a straight set win 6-2 and 6-3 in his quarter-final when he defeated Diego Schwartzman.
