The fourth test match between India and England gets underway in Mumbai on Thursday and at 2-0 up with two to play, India are looking to close out the series win.

India won the third test by eight wickets in Mohali and they only need to avoid defeat, either in the fourth test at Mumbai or the fifth test at Chennai, to win the series.

England had first use of a decent wicket at Mohali and 283 (Bairstow 89) all out was a below par return. India also found some trouble in their reply at 204/6 but Ashwin (72), Jadeja (90) and Yadav (55) took them to 417 and that lead was big enough to put England under the cosh in the second innings.

Earlier in the series India won the second test at Visakhapatnam by a 246 run margin and the first test at Rajkot ended in a draw. In the series stats Kohli is top run scorer with 405 in six knocks ahead of Pujara (338) and Joe Root is best of the English with 299. With the ball Rashid of England has 18 wickets and Ashwin of India has 15.

As far as the team news for Mumbai is concerned England have called up Keaton Jennings and Liam Dawson as replacements for the injured Haseeb Hameed and Zafar Ansari.
