Overall Record: 36-31
Last Week: 5-1
Blues undefeated at home this year, and a struggling Reds side shouldn’t be able to break that record.
Prediction: Blues by 8
Rebels vs Sharks
Sharks have looked less than impressive for many weeks now, and because it’s their first game on tour, and because Rebels have looked a much better side when playing at home, taking a risk and backing the men from Melbourne.
Prediction: Rebels by 6
Crusaders vs Brumbies
Crusaders have got their season on track finally, and while Brumbies will be a stern test for them, I reckon their home ground advantage will help them get a win here.
Prediction: Crusaders by 7
Chiefs vs Lions
The wheels are coming off at the worst time for the Lions, and I expect a dreadful tour for them, much like how the other SA sides have done overseas.
Prediction: Chiefs by 31
Waratahs vs Hurricanes
50/50 call this, but I’ve got to back the Hurricanes who have been superb these last few weeks. If they continue to play like they have done, beating the Waratahs shouldn’t be too tough, even at home.
Prediction: Hurricanes by 6.
Stormers vs Highlanders
Poor Stormers, their win against the Lions gave many of their fans false hope that they were improving. Didn’t fool me though, and you should expect another loss for them this weekend.
Prediction: Highlanders by 6
Bulls vs Cheetahs
Bulls back home after a disastrous tour, but we all know that they’re a different side at Loftus, so I reckon they will get revenge and beat the Cheetahs in the two sides 2nd meeting.
Prediction: Bulls by 9
Force enjoy a bye this weekend.
