Super Rugby Round 4 Preview

7 out of 7 last week bringing our total to 12-4. Hoping to make it another full house this week so here goes nothing.

Hurricanes vs Brumbies

Canes struggled in SA, as I suspect most teams would when starting the season on tour. Brumbies who did beat Force last week have failed to impress me as well, and with Canes playing in front of their home fans this weekend, I am backing them to take this one in a tight contest.

Prediction: Hurricanes by 6

Reds vs Cheetahs

Reds will be hurting after being humiliated by the Waratahs last week, and unfortunately for the cheetahs I see I determined Reds side this week playing in front of their home fans, and I can’t see the Cheetahs putting up much of a fight. Comfortable win for the Reds here.

Prediction: Reds by 14

Crusaders vs Stormers

This Crusaders side really doesn’t look all that good to me this year, and I predict a tough season ahead for them. However not much different can be said about the Stormers, who were very lucky to beat the Canes last week, so making the trip to NZ and knocking over the Saders I feel will be a bridge to far for them.

Prediction: Crusaders by 7

Western Force vs Rebels

Force already showing signs of being the whipping boys this season, and I think this will be the game where many stand up and realise that the Rebels are a force to be reckoned with this season.

Prediction: Rebels by 31

Bulls vs Blues

Bulls got off the mark last week by beating a Lions side that looked out of their depth for the full 80. Nothing really impressed me about the win, and when it comes to the Blues I have only good things to say, so I am going against my 1st game on tour theory, and backing the Blues to win at Loftus.

Prediction: Blues by 5

Sharks vs Lions

Lions were exposed against the Bulls last week, and I feel the screws might really come off for them in this one. Sharks are on a huge high, and I picture a slaughtering of sorts at the Shark tank this weekend.

Prediction: Sharks by 34

Waratahs, Chiefs, and Highlanders enjoy byes this week.
