How to Survive  the Cell C Nelson Mandela Bay Sevens tournament

This is the South Stand of the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium and will be pumping with special festive vibes for two days with the likes of Jeremy Loops, Crazy White Boy, the Aggreko Dynamos, as well as the excitable radio DJ’s Guy McDonald and Ryan O’Connor, will be going huge on entertainment, backed up by DJ Sox on the decks, between the action-packed rugby.

How to prepare the weeks leading into the event:

Watch TV with volume just below maximum all week to get ears used to the decibels.

Enjoy an early morning beer (or two) to help contribute to your aptitude on game day.

On The Day

Exercise: Don’t overdo it a gentle stroll to the stadium should be sufficient.

Sunblock and a safe ride home are going to be your play-of-the-day, so make sure these are taken care of first thing

All animals –  Where’s Waldo?, Smurfs, Super Heroes, Nurses, Cowboys, Indians, Cartoon Characters and anything colourful, wild, fun and creative – will contribute to the event and make you a part of the spectacle.

Make or order your party suit early and test the comfort. Your performance needs to be measured over many hours of fun so take this into account.
